Cloth wears out at the break spot, along the top rail under people's hands, and at the pocket mouths. Once one goes the rest is rarely far behind.
It is the only visit where the slate is uncovered, which makes it the moment to look at seams, bolts and rubber properly rather than assume them, and to correct the level with nothing in the way.

Which cloth, and what the light does to it down there.
- Woollen has a nap and runs slower, forgiving where the standard varies.
- Worsted is smooth and fast, the league surface. Balls carry further than most expect.
- Colour is yours: dark hides chalk, light shows wear sooner.
- A garden level room with a window well on the sunny side will fade cloth unevenly over time, wherever the afternoon light lands.
- Rubber can go on at the same visit, and should if the cushions return dead.

What finished looks like
We here at Denver Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your service is completed. Family owned and operated.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. There is an additional $30 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday. There is an additional cost of $30 if we need to carry the table up stairs on an installation. On a home to home move we do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table, and we will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
